Swim Wear and Lifestyle Fitness Tips
Swimsuit is not about who is the "hottest" girl on the stage. It is about who has the most confidence walking out on a stage in what can feel like underwear.
You do not need to spend hundreds of dollars for a"pageant swimsuit." Stick with solid colors that complimentyour skin tone and hair color. Something that has a tuch of sparkle to it will look great!
Make sure the day of the pageant to not drink any carbonated drinks this will help to prevent bloating.,br>
Many of us go swimming during the summer and although we may feel a bit embarassed by our body, we go swimming anyway. You should feel the same way on stage! Learn to love your body and be proud of it. When you are walking on stage do not think about your flaws, have your chin up and walk like you own the stage. Once you walk across stage in a bikini, you will be able to conquer the world, trust me!
You can try to use some sunless tanner to get some color in your skin if you are very pale. A little bit of a bronze color can accentuate the skin temporarily make sure you do that before the swimsuit competition.
If you have dry and ashy skin from running around all day, bring some lotion and a shimmy brush. you can find these shimmy brushes usually in the make up aisle or at Bath and Body Works or Victorias Secret. Apply the lotion evenly and let it dry, then apply the shimmer powder. This will give you a natural glow and make you shine on stage. (It will also make you look thinner!)
If you truly feel a little self conscious about some extra skin "jiggling" here and there buy a tube of preperation H. It sounds gross but it actually tightens skin for a temporary amount of time. Apply it to the areas you feel might jiggle the most when you walk, this will help to boost your confidence and bring your nerve levels down when your number is called.
